The day started out with pick-up from the Hotel at 10:00 am. We then met with Svetlana, the head of our agency in Russia. She then accompanied us to the Minister of Education where we waited in a little hallway for about 3 hours. We were then escorted to a room and shown a photocopy picture of our little girl, told a couple of meaningless details, and asked if we would like to go see her. OF COURSE!!! She was in an orphanage 2 and 1/2 hours away, so skip lunch....off we go. The Doctor met us at the orphanage and examined her...very very unusually healthy!
We are so blessed. Jordan Noel Roberts will be Jackson's little sister! She is more than we ever dared hope for. Please bear with us because we were asked not to give any details or photos until she is ours (October), but suffice it to say: she is so healthy, so responsive, so lovable!!! She will definitely be able to keep up with her older brother!
Really can't wait to share details, but can't say much more for now. I will continue to post regarding our visits with her, as we will see her each day. Please continue to pray for and follow our journey.
