At the prompting of my loving husband, we now have a blog. Here is where we are: we have our first travel dates for Russia. We will be going to Moscow, Russia on August 23-30th to meet our new precious little girl. After that, we will return home without her, I'm sad to say. 6-8 weeks later, we will go back for court and a 10-day wait. She will then return home with us (I'm guessing October). Moscow is a "blind" region meaning we do not yet have a child assigned and, in fact, will not until we arrive there in August.
We are beside ouselves with excitement. Jackson is a little too young to understand what we are doing, but when we ask if he would like a baby sister, his face lights up, and his response is: "yes ma'am"

Good Job!! I can't wait to see pictures of your family.

Jana and Robin,
Thank you for setting this up! I have had the opportunity to see through the "eyes of a blog" the wonderful expereince of adoption before. I am glad you plan to share in this way and look forward to checking in for updates.
How sweet you will be blessed with a girl. Do you have names in mind and do you know the age range your daughter may be in?
Looks like we will have a big crowd for Thanksgiving.

Allison,
We have a name in mind, but are not deciding on a name until we see what her name is already. I kinda like "Jordan", but Robin has not bought in yet. She is to be as young as possible with maximum age of 24 months.

So excited for you guys. Praying for y'all!
I know Blake & Carly will be sooo happy to meet their new little cousin. Carly is especially excited it's a girl, and I'm sure Blake will teach Jacson & his sister how to decorate your house with toilet paper.

Robin and Jana,
So happy for you!! Can't wait to meet that precious little girl!
God is good! We are praying for your journey to Russia!
Love and Blessings,
Donna
Robin & Jane,
Right now there is a precious little spirit in Russia that does not realize how blessed she is going to be to have you two as parents. I'm proud of both of you and love you dearly.

Robin and Jana,
We enjoyed Jackson's visit yesterday, especially since we won't see him for a week. He got the required 2 cookies and lots of loving. Just remember our thoughts and prayers go with you on this journey and we can't wait to see pictures.
